Drilling Continues

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 23, 2008) - Newmac Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NER)(FRANKFURT:N3M) is pleased to announce that drilling continues on the Crazy Fox Molybdenum Project, favourably located 100 km North of Kamloops, British Columbia.

Assays have now been received from hole CF08-56, Assays from the hole, extend the mineral zone over 500 m North-South. A summary of results from hole CF08-56 is as follows:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hole From To Interval Interval MoS2 Mo W
CF07-56 (m) (m) (m) (ft) (%) (%) (%)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Intercept 642.0 999.0 357 1171 0.12 0.07 0.01

Including 801.0 817.0 16 52.5 0.83 0.50 0.001

CF08-56 was collared 430 m south of hole CF07-41 and drilled on 255 degrees azimuth at -75 degrees. The hole curved northwards with depth. Hole CF08-56 intersected some of the highest grade intercepts seen on the property to date. The Company is very encouraged by these results. Additional drilling continues to dramatically expand the known mineralized zone.

The discovery of high grade mineralization in hole CF08-56, extends known higher grade mineralization over 500 m along strike from mineralization discovered in CF07-41, the deep discovery hole.

Hole CF08-57 is currently being drilled from a collar 225 m South of Hole CF08-56 (725 m south of the discovery hole CF07-41). Assays from CF08-57 will be released as they are received.

A detailed geophysical (magnetometer) survey has now been completed, It is hoped that it will help to determine areas of additional mineralization. The data is currently being processed.

Hole CF07-41, (reported previously) penetrated a low angle thrust fault at approximately 390 m (1280 feet) and encountered mineralized intrusive rocks to the bottom of the hole at a depth of 1021 m (3349 feet). Summary results for the hole are as follows:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hole From To Interval Interval MoS2 Mo W
CF07-41 (m) (m) (m) (ft) (%) (%) (%)

CF08-47 was collared 350 m west of hole CF07-41 and drilled to the east at -80 degrees. Hole CF08-47 curved to the south as it was drilled, CF07-41 curved to the north, the two mineralized intersections are between 90 m and 150 m apart (reported previously).
